I had the pleasure of getting two beautiful girl kittens from Ed and Tony and if I could give them 10 gold stars I would. Where to even start.... Firstly they are extremely knowledgeable breeders.
That might sound obvious however our previous Bengal although a full pedigree was not socialised as a kitten and didn't have a great start in life. He took several years of patience, lots of love and a bit of therapy to loose his aggression eventually becoming a loving cat who lived to 16.
Ed and Tony socialise the kittens to people and the household from the start and it really shows. I wanted two kittens and they advised me on which kittens had bonded with each other and would make a good longterm pairing. I was happy to trust their judgement and settled on two little girls.
They kept me up to date with their routine and sent regular photographs and video clips of the girls.
I am in Scotland and Ed and Tony are in Wales. It was possible but logistically challenging for me to have driven down to collect the kittens however they offered a courier service which was fantastic. They have animal courier transport vans and Tony made the 700 mile round trip one weekend in pretty awful weather to bring the girls to me. This was an additional extra cost wise but it was quite honestly a no brainer. Tony stopped throughout the journey to refresh himself and the kittens and give them food and toilet breaks. They arrived in their own very sturdy cat carriers and got used to their new room whilst Tony went over the paperwork with me. It was obvious that the kittens were in excellent health however Tony went over a health check list with me as I checked each kitten individually.
A comprehensive list of feeding and care instructions was provided along with all vet records and pedigree details. After a quick cuppa Tony was on his way to Wales again.
The girls have been with me for 3 weeks now and I am so happy with them and the whole experience of getting them. I have had cats most of my adult life and this particular experience has been exceptional.
I feel that Ed and Tony are passionate about breeding their Bengals and this comes across with the service they offer and especially with the beautiful healthy kittens they breed. Included in the cost of my kitten was all vaccinations, worming, flea and tic treatment and spaying each female cat. I also got a good quality pet carrier, blanket with Mummy cat's scent, and some toys.
My previous Bengal came with nothing 16 years ago. He cost £500 then, and by the time he was vaccinated, neutered, etc etc we were up at the £800 mark.
Ed and Tony's cats were comparable in overall cost. They cost me £1000 and they had already been dealt with by the vet for spaying and vaccinations etc, and were insured - all inclusive in the purchase price.
Buying a pedigree cat may seem expensive but there is so much that goes into a reputable breeding programme, and so much expense for the breeders to get to the stage of producing healthy Queens who can go on to produce healthy kittens. Apart from the breeders financial input there is a lot of just 'time' input from themselves. For example when kittens are born the breeders may have to spend several nights with the kittens checking feeding and bonding are going as planned.
So, I feel that I purchased two perfectly healthy and well socialised Bengal kittens, who had gone through all their necessary medical checks. I feel that Tony transporting them to me was a complete godsend. He must have been exhausted after his drive but was very pleasant and cheerful and the kittens were happy but shy for the first day or to. After a few days they came out their shells. They now eat together , sleep together in a heap, and play together. They are beautiful examples of their breed produced by breeders who have exceptionally high standards themselves,
I hope your business continues to grow and attains the exceptionally high recognition it deserves
